Mills is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Rock the Dragon. Dragonball Z. Jack Dye has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 22 - 5 - 0, fighting out of New York, Jack Dye!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 14 - 21 - 2, fighting out of Las Vegas, Edward Mills!
The judges for this bout are Kenichi Hosakawa, Tatsuya Matsuyama and Yukihiro Yamamoto.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mills throws a lazy body kick
and Dye counters with a lovely straight right hand!

It looks like Edward Mills has been cut.
Mills steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Dye.
Mills is clearly looking to counter with head kicks.
Mills takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Dye misses with an uppercut. Mills saw that one coming.
Dye definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Mills moves forwards but Dye connects with a nice, crisp jab.
Mills throws a right and a left that Dye avoids nicely.

and Mills counters with a series of strikes. Dye will be more careful next time no doubt.
Mills lands with a nice combination. Dye backs away looking to recover.
Dye stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.

Mills ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.

Mills shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Mills showed some decent athleticism there.

This has been an exciting period of action!
Mills not landing any meaningful shots this time.

Poor strikes thrown by Mills there. More accuracy and less frantic strikes would help!
Mills tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Mills throws an elbow from mount that misses. Lucky escape for Dye because Mills loaded up on that one.
Dye is squirming around, avoiding Mills's attempts to control the action.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Jack Dye will probably get the nod.
The cut man is working on Edward Mills's cut.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
