Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Aljamain Sterling (ranked 2363 p4p, 1017 weight class) and Yuuji Hoshino (ranked 164 p4p, 72 weight class). Sterling comes to the cage accompanied by I Love. Aljamain Sterling is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples... Tweaking his own nipples that is.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 15 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Aljamain Sterling!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 14 - 10 - 0, fighting out of London, Yuuji Hoshino!
The judges for this bout are Ben Zyskovitsi, Roosa Järviläinen and Anni Minnemäki.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hoshino scores with a nice head shot.
Sterling throws an overhand right that lands on Hoshino's shoulder, as Hoshino tries to avoid the shot.

Sterling shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Hoshino is trying to defend but Sterling finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.

Sterling is trying to work for a kimura but Hoshino is defending well.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Hoshino takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Sterling looks to score with a jab to the body but Hoshino is just out of range.
Sterling throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.

Hoshino throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Sterling wants to control from the top but Hoshino keeps moving.
Sterling is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
Sterling makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard.
Sterling slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.
Sterling wants to control but Hoshino is keeping him busy.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Hoshino pushes Sterling away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Sterling gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control.

Sterling swings around for an armbar but Hoshino sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Sterling's guard.

Sterling has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Hoshino can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

That was a close second round but I would say that Aljamain Sterling will probably get the nod.

Well Hoshino has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

Yuuji Hoshino seemed lost for words in his post fight interview but he remembered to thank his fans and directed everyone to his website.
Aljamain Sterling was interviewed post fight and said 'Whether it's Bellator, OneFC, World Series, whatever, the door's open for me. Financial stability is the most important thing for me'.
