Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Kjetil Olsen (ranked 137 p4p, 164 weight class) and Billy Blank (ranked 16 p4p, 20 weight class). Olsen comes to the cage accompanied by Tubthumping by Chumbawamba. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

It looks like Billy Blank has been cut.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Blank has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.
Olsen dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Blank. That did some damage!
Ooooh, nice body kick lands from Olsen. Blank shrugs it off though.

Olsen drops Blank with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Blank looks back up at him and smiles so Olsen waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.

Olsen fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Blank manages to avoid it.
Despite the aggression on Blank's face he doesn't fully commit to the counter.
