Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Nick Jackson (ranked 1880 p4p, 1522 weight class) and Richard Morrison (ranked 131 p4p, 115 weight class). Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the prize buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 11 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Nick Jackson!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 24 - 19 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Richard Morrison!
The judges for this bout are Don Winkell, Frank Antenori and Timothy Bukovac.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jackson needs to keep his hands up - Morrison had a free shot at his head there.
Morrison scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one.
Morrison swings away with a body shot that misses
and Jackson counters with a lovely shot to the body.
Morrison is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Jackson.
Morrison thuds his right hand into Jackson's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.
Morrison shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down.

Jackson throws a jab but it's blocked by Morrison.

Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Jackson lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Morrison has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Morrison and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

Jackson fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Morrison sprawls well initially but Jackson persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
We've been hearing that Jackson has been drilling a lot of ground and pound in training, so let's see if he get the finish.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Jackson lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears.
Morrison flails away from the bottom but he's not doing any damage.
Jackson is nestled in close to Morrison, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.
Morrison wants to improve his position but Jackson is controlling well.

Morrison is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Jackson's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Jackson's back!
You can see the frustration on Jackson's face… He knows he is in trouble unless he improves his position sooner rather than later.

Morrison has the hooks in. Jackson is trying to push off one leg but he has to do so cautiously to avoid being submitted.

A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Jackson holds on and takes a little breather.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

That was a close round but I would say that Nick Jackson will probably get the nod.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!

Jackson is landing with some decent strikes but Morrison is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue.

Morrison takes a big shot to the dome and his eyes have rolled back in his head! Jackson's killer instinct has kicked in as he finishes the fight with more strikes. Impressive finish.
