Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 19 - 14 - 2, fighting out of Amsterdam, Billy Crawley!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 28 - 12 - 0, fighting out of London, Adam Shalashaska!
The judges for this bout are Hirohito Nitta, Shigeki Fujiwara and Yuuki Gou.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Crawley moves out of range of the body kick from Shalashaska.
Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.
Shalashaska misses with a hook.
Crawley fakes a jab and scores with a low kick.
A jab from Crawley finds it's way through Shalashaska's defenses.
Crawley lands a nice looking body shot.
Shalashaska needs to keep his hands up - Crawley had a free shot at his head there.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Shalashaska has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.

Crawley has taken the fight to the clinch.

A nice glancing elbow lands by Shalashaska.
Shalashaska looking to throw knees to the head but Crawley is blocking nicely.

Crawley tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked.

An uppercut to the body lands inside from Crawley.
Crawley lands a right hand that snaps the head of Shalashaska backwards.
Crawley misses with a hook from the clinch.
Crawley gets through Shalashaska's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head.
Crawley makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut.

Crawley pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Shalashaska throws a head kick but Crawley moves out of range.
A quick step to the side and Crawley tries to counter with a shot to the body but it doesn't connect.
Crawley wants to clinch.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
A looping hook to the body misses from Shalashaska. Crawley does a little dance to reset his feet.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Crawley has closed the distance and engaged Shalashaska in a clinch.
Shalashaska changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Crawley fights it off and pushes away nicely.
Shalashaska throws an overhand right that lands on Crawley's shoulder, as Crawley tries to avoid the shot.

Shalashaska fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Crawley, pushing him back against the cage.
With the two fighters working up against the cage, Shalashaska just misses with a elbow thrown towards Crawley's brow.

Shalashaska jumps into guard, dragging Crawley to the mat.
Crawley pushes down on Shalashaska's leg and manages to get into half guard.
Crawley is figuring out what he wants to do next.
Crawley wants to stand but Shalashaska has hold of a leg and an arm, so he's trapped for now.
Crawley seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Shalashaska does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

Crawley is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Shalashaska defends it well.
Crawley is looking to advance position but Shalashaska won't allow it.

Crawley is just content to waste time from the top position. Shalashaska takes advantage of the situation and regains full guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Crawley is looking to stand up but Shalashaska won't let him.

Shalashaska is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
Crawley is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

Crawley tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Shalashaska tries to counter with a clinch but Crawley shakes him off and moves away.
Crawley misses with an attempted mid kick.
Shalashaska tries a quick counter leg kick but Crawley is wise to it.
Crawley connects with a body shot.
Shalashaska needs to keep his hands up - Crawley had a free shot at his head there.
Shalashaska tries to clinch there but Crawley circles away.

Crawley is looking to wear down Shalashaska with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment.

Crawley wants to clinch up but Shalashaska keeps it at a distance.
Shalashaska closes the distance looking to clinch

and Crawley counters with a crisp one two that drops Shalashaska! Crawley thinks about following him to the mat for a moment but instead steps back and waves Shalashaska to his feet! Shalashaska is in big trouble!

Shalashaska is rocked!
Shalashaska throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Crawley counters with a huge overhand right that connects right on the temple, sending him crumpling, face first to the floor! This one is all over! What a knockout!

During a confident post fight interview, Billy Crawley thanked all his fans. He seemed very genuine when describing how motivated his fans keep him.
