Coming up we have a light heavyweight kickboxing rules bout between Nick Tartle (ranked 4257 p4p, 4260 weight class) and Kapp Souvanatong (ranked 560 p4p, 562 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The judges for this bout are John Kavanagh, Steve Montenegro and Joseph Jones.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Souvanatong throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Tartle scores a knockdown with a big right hand! Souvanatong beats the count and gets back to his feet. The referee asks him to walk forwards and it appears he is OK so we'll continue the bout.
Kapp Souvanatong has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
Nick Tartle is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.

and Souvanatong takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.

Tartle lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Souvanatong circles away quickly and effectively.

Tartle looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.
Souvanatong moves forwards but Tartle connects with a nice, crisp jab.
Tartle lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!

and Tartle counters with a thumping low kick.
Kapp Souvanatong seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Tartle checks a leg kick nicely.
Tartle quickly followed up with a counter body kick but doesn't connect.
Souvanatong finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.
Souvanatong takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.

Tartle rushes Souvanatong and presses him up against the cage.
A frustrated look appears on Souvanatong's face as he tries to break the clinch.

Tartle catches Souvanatong with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!
Tartle looks for the body kick but Souvanatong saw that one coming.

Souvanatong motions for Tartle to come forward. Souvanatong throws a leg kick but it misses it's target.
Souvanatong throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Tartle cracks Souvanatong with an open hand slap.
Tartle delivers a nice body kick.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Souvanatong throws a low kick, looking for Tartle's leg but Tartle calmly moves out of range.
Tartle connects with a good right hand that stumbles Souvanatong. Souvanatong circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
Tartle uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Souvanatong.
And that's the end of the fight!
Nick Tartle showed his dominance in that final round.
Well Tartle has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
