Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Adan Puno (ranked 88 p4p, 283 weight class) and Barron White (ranked 15 p4p, 39 weight class). I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, Percy O'Donnell and Don Winkell.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
White is looking to slow Puno down with leg kicks.
White moves forwards but Puno connects with a nice, crisp jab.

It looks like Barron White has been cut.
This has been an exciting period of action!
White is looking to chop away at Puno's legs.
White avoids the body shot from Puno.
White misses with a body kick.
White throws a right and a left that Puno avoids nicely.
White misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
White looks to land a right hand but Puno moved out of range.

Puno takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Puno fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and White has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.

That was a close round but I would say that Adan Puno will probably get the nod.
Both fighters have cut men working on them during the interval.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Puno is looking to break free of the clinch but White has double underhooks.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Puno has not gone for a single takedown so far in this fight, which seems like a very strange tactic when you consider that he has the superior wrestling and BJJ.
