The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Belluse throws a lazy head kick
and Lyle counters with a lovely shot to the body.

Lyle moves into range and throws a big uppercut. OH! Belluse goes down! Can Lyle finish him!?

It looks like Larry Belluse has been cut.
Lyle is looking to stand up but Belluse won't let him.

Lyle wants to stand but Belluse has a closed guard, so he can't escape.
Belluse lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Belluse won't allow Lyle to get back to his feet.
Belluse slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Lyle wants to stand and escape but Belluse is having none of it.
