Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Joe Furlong (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Smith Wesson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Wesson has chosen Bodies as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Joe Furlong has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

The judges for this bout are David Schapiro, Lou da Vinci and Jorge Garcia.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Furlong fails to land the takedown.
Wesson cracks Furlong with a right hand to the side of the head.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Furlong is defended easily by Wesson.
Furlong closes the distance and clinches up with Wesson, looking for a takedown. Furlong pushes Wesson against the cage but Wesson circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Joe Furlong. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Wesson lands with a cross.
Furlong takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Wesson feints and then cracks Furlong's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Furlong down.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Both fighters circling slowly here as the pace drops. Hopefully one of them does someth.. OOOHHHH!!!! Wesson throws an absolute beast of a head kick! Furlong is done! He's out cold, twisted and contorted up against the cage! Wow!
