PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a heavyweight kickboxing rules bout between Iggy Pop (ranked 5666 p4p, 24289 weight class) and Nero Vogels (ranked 522 p4p, 564 weight class). Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Vogels throws a half hearted mid kick.
Pop throws a jab when Vogels was well out of range.
Pop takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Pop tries to counter by clinching up but Vogels breaks away and moves out of range.
Pop is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Vogels.
Vogels steps in looking to counter with the mid kick but it doesn't connect.

Nice uppercut lands for Vogels. That snapped Pop's head back.
Vogels moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.
Pop avoids the body shot from Vogels.
Pop tries to counter by moving into the clinch but Vogels manages to circle out of the way.
Pop throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Vogels stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
