Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Kevin Silveiro!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Silveiro is trying hard to land a takedown here. Abbot sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Silveiro has done a lot of speed work in the buildup to this fight.
Silveiro shoots for a double leg takedown but Abbot sprawls well. He's pushed Silveiro's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Silveiro darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
Silveiro is looking to take a break and control but Abbot is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

Silveiro tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Silveiro has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
