Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Colin Fray, Paul Gruel and Micheangelo Fripello.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jones lands a jab to the head.
Newman ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Jones slips under a jab.
Jones misses with an uppercut.
Jones swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Newman let fly with a counter punch to the body but it didn't land.
Jones throws a sloppy body shot

and Newman counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Newman.
Newman pushing down on Jones's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work.
Jones knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Newman on the ground.
Newman thows a huge punch but Jones dodges it nicely.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Newman is working for a submission of some sort.
Jones has a hand on Newman's thigh, trying to get back to full guard. Newman takes advantage of the position though and mounts him!
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Jones wants to improve position but instead he's given up his back.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Newman controlling well, preventing Jones from escaping the position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Newman patiently working for the choke. Which fighter will keep their nerve here?
You can see the frustration on Jones's face… He knows he is in trouble unless he improves his position sooner rather than later.

Newman has got one arm under Jones's chin. This could be trouble... Jones trying to control the other hand but Newman gets it free and sqeezes tight - just a matter of time now! Yep, Jones has tapped out! The fight is over!
