The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Benedetti lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
Benedetti ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Benedetti lands with an uppercut that bounces Lew off the cage and back into range.

Benedetti fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.
Benedetti thows a left - swing and a miss!

Lew fakes the leg kick and cracks Benedetti in the body.
Benedetti throws a wild body kick that Lew sees coming a mile off.
Benedetti misses with a lunging right hand
and Lew counters with a nice low kick that buckles Benedetti's knee momentarily.
Mario Benedetti seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Lew throws out a loose jab but Benedetti uses good head movement to avoid it.

Benedetti scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.
Lew tries to check a leg kick but that clearly hurt him.

Benedetti ducks right into an uppercut from Lew.

Lew cracks Benedetti with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Lew has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Benedetti to stand back up!
Lew catches Benedetti with a right, a left, a right. It's raining punches and Benedetti forgot an umbrella! Another punch and he's down. This one is over!
