Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 31 - 37 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Jerome Steel!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 15 - 29 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Muggy Mugshot!
The judges for this bout are Saam Ante, Aafke Stam and Radbod Blank.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Steel swings for the body but Mugshot moves out of range.
Mugshot wants to clinch up but Steel keeps it at a distance.
Mugshot walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.

It looks like Muggy Mugshot has been cut.
Steel lands with a good body shot.
Steel lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
Mugshot throws a body punch but Steel moves out of range.
Steel cracks Mugshot with a good jab.
Steel blocks a jab.
Steel lands with a thumping leg kick.
Steel circles away from the clinch attempt.
Mugshot on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.
Mugshot on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
Steel throws a low kick, looking for Mugshot's leg but Mugshot calmly moves out of range.
Steel tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Steel fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Mugshot checks it well.
Mugshot lets it all go there with a big combo counter but none of the punches connected.

Steel uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Mugshot.

Mugshot tries to clinch up but Steel circles away and keeps his distance.

Steel fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.

Steel throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Steel takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.
Mugshot moves in looking to clinch but Steel pushes him off.
Mugshot scores with a jab to the head.
It looks like Steel has been trying to sharpen up his punching technique, as it looks crisper than last time we saw him.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Mugshot takes a swing at Steel's ribcage but misses.
A jab from Mugshot misses.
Steel jabs Mugshot right on the nose. Mugshot blinks but takes it well.
Good work by Steel as he checks the leg kick.
A shot to the body from Mugshot misses
and Steel counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Mugshot walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Steel checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.
Steel displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Mugshot throws out the jab.
Steel is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches.
Steel scores with a nice right hand.
Steel is using his reach advantage well here, landing the more effective single shots from range.
Steel throws a wild body kick that Mugshot sees coming a mile off.
Mugshot looks to land a combination but Steel avoids it well.
Mugshot takes one on the button.
Sloppy strikes from Mugshot. Those never looked like landing.
Mugshot doesn't manage to clinch there - Steel circles away.
Steel scores with the left hand. Mugshot knows he should have avoided that one.
Mugshot swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Steel counters with a straight right hand.

That has opened up Muggy Mugshot's cut even more.
Mugshot fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Steel.
A looping hook to the body misses from Mugshot. Steel does a little dance to reset his feet.
Steel changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Mugshot fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Steel is really peppering his opponent's head with punches.
Mugshot misses with a straight left.
Steel uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Mugshot.
Mugshot takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Mugshot walks into a stiff left hand from Steel.
Mugshot swings and misses with a hook to the body.

A head kick lands from Steel that sends Mugshot to the canvas. Mugshot tries to scramble back to his feet but Steel brings him back down into side control.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Check out the look on Steel's face as he threw that strike - that's one determined fighter!

Mugshot is rocked!

The cut above Muggy Mugshot's eye is starting to cause him problems now.
Steel working the ground and pound.
Mugshot is still in real trouble! Can Steel finish him?

Muggy Mugshot's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Muggy Mugshot's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:52 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Cut). Jerome Steel!
A relieved looking Jerome Steel thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
