Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Bobby Bomstaerk (ranked 1682 p4p, 2648 weight class) and Richmond Belvedere (ranked 224 p4p, 317 weight class). Bobby Bomstaerk has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 26 - 17 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Bobby Bomstaerk!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 14 - 15 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Richmond Belvedere!
The judges for this bout are Patrick Alders, Aafke Stam and Nard Betker.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bomstaerk throws a jab but it's blocked by Belvedere.
Bomstaerk connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Belvedere's hands.
Nice uppercut there from Belvedere.

Belvedere gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Bomstaerk to score an easy takedown into full guard.

Belvedere looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Bomstaerk wants to control from the top but Belvedere keeps moving.

Belvedere is refusing to be controlled, as Bomstaerk sits in half guard.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Bomstaerk connects with a nice short shot to Belvedere's temple.

Belvedere is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Bomstaerk's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Bomstaerk's back!
