Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 1, fighting out of Helsinki, Adrian Halvorsen!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Jaxon Williams!
The judges for this bout are Skip Squint, Francis DeMontford and Ben Hemmingworth.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Williams steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from Halvorsen. That one must have hurt.
Williams shoots in for a takedown and gets it.
Halvorsen is pressing down on Williams's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it.
Halvorsen is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Williams working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Halvorsen's head.
Halvorsen working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Williams doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Williams manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Halvorsen looking for submissions from the bottom but instead Williams passes into side control.
Williams gets to mount! Halvorsen was on the offensive and wasn't defending properly.
Williams lands a nice shot to the head.
Halvorsen is rocked!
Williams is in full mount looking to finish with strikes. He lands a big shot, followed by another and Halvorsen goes limp! The ref jumps in to end the fight - a big win for Williams!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:57 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Jaxon Williams!
