The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rua tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.

Tumaa closes the distance but Rua moves to the side
and Rua counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena.

and Tumaa finishes the little exchange by landing a big kick to the body.

Tumaa fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Rua, pushing him back against the cage.
Rua wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Tumaa tries to land a knee to the head but Rua blocks with his arms.
Rua misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from Tumaa.

Tumaa's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Rua keeps the fight on the outside.
Tumaa fails in his attempt to clinch.
Tumaa tries to clinch but Rua moves out of range.
Rua feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Tumaa's calf.

Rua is working actively from the bottom, looking for submissions. He's escaped his hips to the side and he's going for an armbar! Tumaa has his hands clasped together but Rua extends an breaks Tumaa's desperate grasp, forcing a tap out due to armbar! Nice BJJ displayed there by Rua.
