Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jyrki Mallasvuo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Niko Hilavitku (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). On his way into the cage it seems that Jyrki Mallasvuo has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Jyrki Mallasvuo seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hilavitku fails to land the takedown.
Hilavitku shoots for a takedown but Mallasvuo saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Hilavitku shoots for a double leg takedown but Mallasvuo sprawls well. He's pushed Hilavitku's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Jyrki Mallasvuo has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Niko Hilavitku.
Hilavitku changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Mallasvuo tries to avoid it but Hilavitku manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Mallasvuo to the ground. Mallasvuo escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Hilavitku has control of Mallasvuo's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Mallasvuo regains control of the situation pretty easily.
Mallasvuo is desperately trying to improve his position but Hilavitku has a good base and remains in mount.
Mallasvuo sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though.

Hilavitku is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
Mallasvuo is looking for a sweep. Hilavitku is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Hilavitku is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Mallasvuo doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Hilavitku.

Hilavitku working from the back looking to end the fight with a rear naked choke. Mallasvuo is doing well to defend. Hilavitku seems to have got his hand under the chin though and he's sunk the choke in! Mallasvuo is forced to tap and this one is over!
