The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tonal's corner calls for a 1-2. Tonal obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.
Abbot takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Tonal getting the better of the striking in that exchange.
Abbot doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.

Tonal wants the takedown. Abbot is fighting it off but Tonal persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Abbot's guard against the cage.

Tonal utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.

Hammerfist, elbow! yells Abbot's corner. There ya go! There ya go!

It looks like Brabus Tonal has been cut.
Abbot throws an elbow that misses. Tonal uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Abbot's guard. Nice move by Tonal!

The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Tonal pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.
Tonal throws a shot to the body.
Tonal fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Abbot has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.

Abbot stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Abbot wants it to stay on the feet.

Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Tonal, as that shot connected.

Abbot gets clipped by a big right hand and goes down spinning to the canvas! Tonal gets the back mount and begins to drop bombs on his rocked foe! Abbot is too out of it to defend against the strikes and the referee jumps in to save him from the beatdown!
