Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Logan Barrengarry (ranked 387 p4p, 801 weight class) and Yusuf Mammadov (ranked 52 p4p, 106 weight class). Barrengarry comes to the cage accompanied by The Young Crazed Peeling by The Distillers. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 28 - 17 - 1, fighting out of Tokyo, Logan Barrengarry!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 15 - 12 - 1, fighting out of Amsterdam, Yusuf Mammadov!
The judges for this bout are James Atkins, Chris Edwards and James Ackerman.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Barrengarry fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Mammadov is out of range.
Mammadov tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Barrengarry manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Mammadov has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.
Barrengarry pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Mammadov let fly with a counter punch to the body but it didn't land.
Mammadov clobbers Barrengarry with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.

It looks like Logan Barrengarry has been cut.
Barrengarry throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land.
Barrengarry throws a quick inside leg kick.
Mammadov takes a push kick to the midsection and stumbles backwards.
Mammadov throws a front kick that sends Barrengarry stumbling back into the cage.
Mammadov throws a head kick but Barrengarry moves out of range.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Mammadov buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Mammadov takes a body punch but keeps moving.
Mammadov ducks right into an uppercut from Barrengarry.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Barrengarry lands a head kick!

That's one minute gone in the round.
Barrengarry throws a body kick but he wasn't in range.
Mammadov takes one to the side of the head.
Barrengarry lands a lovely overhand right.
Barrengarry lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
Barrengarry lands a two punch combo.
Barrengarry has been working on his boxing with his coaches at House of 1000 Corpses in the buildup to the fight.
Barrengarry throws a predictable looking body shot
and Mammadov counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Logan Barrengarry seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Mammadov comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Mammadov throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Barrengarry takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Barrengarry misses the body punch

and Mammadov counters with a head kick that drops Barrengarry to the mat! Barrengarry scrambles across the canvas and gets back to his feet, still wobbly!

Barrengarry is rocked!
Mammadov delivers a nice body kick.
Oh Barrengarry is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

Mammadov shoots in for a takedown. Oh, that's a huge slam! Barrengarry is on queer street and Mammadov is pounding down on him with a barage of strikes. The ref is forced to step in and stop the fight. Great finish!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:58 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Slam). Yusuf Mammadov!
A relieved looking Yusuf Mammadov thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
