Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Pete Tyler (ranked 654 p4p, 1216 weight class) and Yannick Sakala (ranked 83 p4p, 154 weight class). Sakala has chosen Pole Pole as his entrance music. The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 14 - 8 - 0, fighting out of London, Pete Tyler!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 14 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Yannick Sakala!
The judges for this bout are Eliza Hachem, Skip Squint and Ben Hemmingworth.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tyler bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Sakala's head backwards.
Tyler pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Tyler closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
It looks like Pete Tyler has been cut.
Tyler throws a jab when Sakala was well out of range.
Despite the aggression on Sakala's face he doesn't fully commit to the counter.
Tyler throws an off balance right hand
and Sakala counters with a nice kick to the body.
Tyler takes a body kick right on the floating rib. Ouchie.
Tyler moves out of range as Sakala throws a body kick.
Tyler is looking to counter with a shot to the body.
Sakala misses with a lunging right hand
and Tyler counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
A chopping leg kick lands by Tyler.
Tyler throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Sakala counters with a body kick.
Sakala lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

The fight moves into the clinch position.

Tyler blocks a couple of punches on the inside.

Sakala's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

Tyler throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Sakala throws the kick towards the body but Tyler avoids it.
Tyler walks forward, straight into a front kick from Sakala.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Tyler swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Tyler seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym.
Sakala fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Tyler manages to avoid it.
Tyler is looking to counter punch.
Sakala throws a body kick but he wasn't in range.
Tyler appeared to be looking to counter that last move with a leg kick.
Sakala takes a swing at Tyler's ribcage but misses.
Sakala scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.
Sakala connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.
Sakala tries a head kick but it misses.

Tyler takes a push kick to the midsection and stumbles backwards.
Sakala lands with an overhand left.
Sakala uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.
Pete Tyler's cut is getting worse.
Tyler bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.

Both guys are working to get underhooks.
Sakala gets through Tyler's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head.
A real battle for position is taking place between these two warriors.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Tyler lands a right hand that snaps the head of Sakala backwards.
Sakala lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage.
Pete Tyler's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it.
Sakala tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.

Sakala throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Tylers head.
The fighters are pressed against the cage, as the pace of the fight slows.
Sakala has been looking to improve his clinch game in recent weeks. Tyler seems to have the measure of him in the clinch so far, so let's see if Sakala can turn it around.

And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

Yannick Sakala seems to be getting the better of the standup.
Sakala lands a glancing blow to the side of Tyler's head.
Sakala lands a big uppercut and Tyler crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Tyler looks OK. Sakala waves Tyler back to his feet!
Yannick Sakala seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Tyler tries to score with a leg kick but it misses it's target.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Sakala! But no joy.
A slapping body kick lands there for Sakala.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Jeez, Pete Tyler's cut is really nasty now. The referee must be thinking about getting that checked.

Sakala throws an overhand right that drops Tyler like a sack of potatoes! Sakala dives in to finish the fight with more strikes and this one is all over!
