Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Juanito Escobar (ranked 372 p4p, 655 weight class) and Angelo Moore (ranked 51 p4p, 99 weight class). The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 36 - 12 - 1, fighting out of London, Angelo Moore!
The judges for this bout are Yasuomi Hirokawa, Ren Mimura and Tatsuya Matsuyama.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Escobar dives in and scores a takedown into Moore's guard.
Moore has managed to wall walk up one of the corner posts to get back to his feet. Escobar is pushing him up against the cage, looking to control the position.

I was talking to Escobar's coach per-fight and he was telling me that they'd been working on the clinch in the runup to this fight.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Escobar uses his free foot to push down on Moore's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Moore.
You get the feeling that Moore really doesn't like being in this position too much.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Escobar is looking to secure an arm. He's managed it! He's pivoting for an armbar - that looks tight! But Moore has managed to get out of it and now he's in a dominant position. Nice work from Moore!
Escobar is pulling down on Moore's head. It's preventing any offense from Moore, at least for the moment.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Escobar, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
