Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Bob Bronte (ranked 1462 p4p, 1172 weight class) and John Paul (ranked 81 p4p, 49 weight class). Bronte's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Buffalo Charge by Dub Phizix and Strategy. I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that John Paul was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 12 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Bob Bronte!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 11 - 5 - 0, fighting out of London, John Paul!
The judges for this bout are Paul Tew, Colin Fotheringham and Phil Schofield.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Paul takes a swing at Bronte's ribcage but misses.
Bronte lands with a cross.
It looks like John Paul has been cut.
Ooooh, nice body kick lands from Paul. Bronte shrugs it off though.
Bronte uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Paul.
Paul misses with a kick to the body.
Paul swings away with a body shot that misses
and Bronte moves into the clinch.
A short left from Bronte.
Bronte's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Paul throws a right and a left that Bronte avoids nicely.
Paul lands with a shot to the body.
A looping hook to the body misses from Paul. Bronte does a little dance to reset his feet.

Bronte went nuts there looking for a big combo counter but none of the flurry connected.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Bronte throws a hook but Paul avoids it easily.
Paul lands a nice hook to Bronte's body. Bronte takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.

and Bronte counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Bronte.
Bronte wants to control from the top but Paul keeps moving.

The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.
Bronte controls the pace of the fight for a moment.

Bronte slips under a jab from Paul.
Paul looks to land a left hand but Bronte moved out of range nicely.
Bronte is looking to counter the offense by Paul and move into the clinch.
Bronte takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Bronte drops his hands momentarily and Paul takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
Bronte uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Paul.
Bronte throws a big counter combination but Paul scrambles out of danger and avoids any damage.
Paul throws an off balance right hand
and Bronte counters with a left and a right that hurts Paul! He wobbles and falls to the floor - he's in big trouble! Bronte jumps into full mount!
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
John Paul dominated that round.
The cut man is working on John Paul's cut.
That's time! Bronte's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Bronte cracks Paul with a nasty uppercut that draws ooohs from the crowd and sends Paul tumbling backwards onto the mat. He tries to recover but Bronte pounces and lands a hail of unanswered strikes that forces the referee to step in to end the fight! Paul is not happy but he gave the referee no choice!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:05 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Bob Bronte!
