The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tokarev uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Laurent.
Donk. Laurent catches Tokarev right on the button with a cross.

Tokarev looking to control but Laurent is working nicely, looking to advance position himself.

Tokarev working to secure an arm triangle but it's not happening for him just yet.

Tokarev stands up from the dominant position, so we're back on the feet.
Laurent misses with an uppercut. Tokarev saw that one coming.
A clash of legs there as Tokarev blocks the low kick.
Laurent swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Julius Laurent seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Tokarev closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.

Laurent has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Tokarev is working away from the top position though.
Laurent tries to kick Tokarev off but Tokarev keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.

Tokarev is working for a submission here. He's got hold of the far side arm and he's looking for a kimura. He's cranking on the arm and he's got it! Laurent is tapping out! Ouch, that looked like it hurt!
