The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Pachanski closes the distance and pushes McQuirk back into the cage.

Pachanski pushes off an throws an elbow but McQuirk leans to the side and avoids it. We're back to clinching against the cage.

McQuirk manages to break the clinch.
McQuirk dives in and grabs Pachanski's left leg, looking for a takedown. Pachanski pushes down on McQuirk's head and hops out.

Fred Pachanski is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
McQuirk tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Pachanski manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
It looked like Pachanski was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit.

McQuirk changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Pachanski tries to avoid it but McQuirk manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Pachanski to the ground. Pachanski escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

McQuirk is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Pachanski rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but McQuirk moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

He turns his back on McQuirk, trying to create some distance but McQuirk rushes him, striking wildly and Pachanski goes down! The referee tackles McQuirk into the cage to end the fight! McQuirk is one violent man!
