Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Damien Hawthorne (ranked 2177 p4p, 3831 weight class) and Hyu Head (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hawthorne comes to the cage accompanied by Schism by Tool. Head comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Eye of the tiger kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Both fighters look pumped up here. Let's hope this is a good fight!

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 36 - 17 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Damien Hawthorne!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 6 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Hyu Head!
The judges for this bout are Don Winkell, Jack Bonds and Frank Antenori.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Head walks into a jab.
Hawthorne keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Head takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Head tries for a takedown but Hawthorne circles away easily
letting Hawthorne counter with a right hand.
Head throws a wild body kick that Hawthorne sees coming a mile off.
Head shoots in and drives through. Hawthorne sprawls well.
Damien Hawthorne has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Hyu Head.
Head takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Hawthorne clobbers Head with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
The fighters circle momentarily. Hawthorne darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
Hawthorne bobs and weaves and then throws a good body kick.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
A punch lands to the side of Head 's head but he takes it in his stride.
Damien Hawthorne seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Hawthorne scores with a nice strike.
Head walks into a jab.
Head shoots in and drives through. Hawthorne sprawls well.
Head looks winded!
Head on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.
Head closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.

Hawthorne cracks Head with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Hawthorne has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Head to stand back up!

Head is rocked!

It looks like Hyu Head has been cut.
Hawthorne cracks Head with a nasty uppercut that draws ooohs from the crowd and sends Head tumbling backwards onto the mat. He tries to recover but Hawthorne pounces and lands a hail of unanswered strikes that forces the referee to step in to end the fight! Head is not happy but he gave the referee no choice!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:57 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Damien Hawthorne!
A relieved looking Damien Hawthorne thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
In defeat, Hyu Head stepped up to the mic, saying '"Everybody out there know I beat him, I controlled the fight, he was missing, I hit him plenty more times. I beat him.Let me talk something... I want to thank the whole hood who came out here. I love y'all. I did this for the hood, you know I beat that boy.'.
