Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Michael Dawson (ranked 3960 p4p, 24376 weight class) and Jon Alexander (ranked 448 p4p, 543 weight class). Alexander has chosen "Land of Confusion" by Disturbed as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dawson avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Alexander tries to check a leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
Alexander tries to clinch up.
Danga de danga de dang - Dawson scores with a four punch combination!
Alexander throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land.
Dawson lands with a right hand.
Dawson lands a jab to the head.
Dawson comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Dawson lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.
Alexander tries to close the distance and clinch up but Dawson swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Alexander looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Alexander takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
We've been told by Dawson's head coaches at California Top Team that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.

Alexander walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
Dawson uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Alexander has time to react.

Dawson drops Alexander with a naaaaasty hook - Alexander is in real trouble here! Dawson dives in to side control and pounds out his opponent for a TKO victory! The crowd goes nuts!
