Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Chase Cole (ranked 25339 p4p, 3968 weight class) and Shang Chi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Chase Cole!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Shang Chi!
The judges for this bout are Cecil Peabody, Alan Glass and George Francis.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Chi feints a jab promting Cole to slip. Chi then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Cole slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.
Cole gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Chi.
Chi misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Chi circles away from the clinch attempt.

Cole changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Chi looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Cole throws an elbow but Chi slips to the side and avoids it well.

Cole has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand.
Chi jabs Cole to the body, keeping him at a distance.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Chi cracks a nice hook into Cole's ribs.

Cole rushes Chi and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.

Chi breaks the clinch.

Cole looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into side control! Oh, that's bad for Chi!
Cole working the ground and pound but he's contacting the mat, not the fighter.

Chi bucks up and tries to throw Cole off but instead Cole has got his back!

Chi defends a rear naked choke attempt by controlling one of Cole's arms.
Cole keeps control of the position as Chi tries to break free.

Cole is working for a rear naked choke. Chi is not defending it well and Cole has tightened it up quickly! This could be all over! Chi refuses to tap and goes to sleep, forcing the referee to intervene. A little trickle of blood came out of Chi's nose as his head slumped to the floor. That is naaaasty!
