Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Inferno Subbin (ranked 4359 p4p, 4573 weight class) and Lee Zhenji (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Inferno Subbin!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Lee Zhenji!
The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, Alan Glass and Gwen Towbar.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Zhenji lands with a kick to the temple. Subbin shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"
Zhenji throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.
Zhenji shoots in and drives through. Subbin sprawls well.
Subbin changes levels looking for a counter takedown but doesn't commit.
Zhenji buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Subbin really is a fat lump.
Zhenji goes for a high kick. It partially lands.
Zhenji misses with a head kick.
Zhenji is trying hard to land a takedown here. Subbin sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Subbin moves forwards but Zhenji connects with a nice, crisp jab.
Zhenji tries for a takedown but Subbin sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Subbin attempts a counter takedown but Zhenji avoids it well and moves away.
Inferno Subbin has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Lee Zhenji.

Zhenji drops down looking for an ankle pick but Subbin pulls his leg out and moves away.

Zhenji drives through and clinches with Subbin against the cage.

Subbin jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Zhenji walks away with a smile on his face. Subbin gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Zhenji lets loose with a powerful body kick. Subbin will feel that in the morning.

Zhenji moves into the clinch.

Zhenji closes the distance and pushes Subbin back into the cage.
Zhenji is pressed up against the cage. Subbin has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Zhenji down to the mat. Zhenji avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.

Lee Zhenji dominated that round.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

Zhenji shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Subbin pinned against the cage. Subbin gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Zhenji dives in and grabs Subbin's left leg, looking for a takedown. Subbin pushes down on Zhenji's head and hops out.
Subbin half commits to a counter takedown before pushing away, out of range.

and Subbin counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Subbin.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Zhenji holds on and takes a little breather.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Subbin sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Zhenji's guard.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Subbin connects with a nice short shot to Zhenji's temple.

That was a close second round but I would say that Inferno Subbin will probably get the nod.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare each other down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!
