Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.

With a record of 5 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Kurou Nishiyama!
The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Shimada, Ren Mimura and Shigeki Fujiwara.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nishiyama tries to land a leg kick but Griggs saw it coming and moves away.
Nishiyama fails with an attempt to clinch.
Nishiyama is looking to clinch but Griggs is avoiding it.
Nishiyama blocks a jab.
Nishiyama takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Griggs looks to land a right hand but Nishiyama moved out of range.
Nishiyama pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Griggs finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.
Nishiyama tries a head kick but it misses.
A big right from Griggs misses.
Nishiyama lands a really nice looking cross but Griggs seems unphased.
Griggs connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Nishiyama's hands.
Griggs connects with a right hand. Nishiyama shakes it off.
Nishiyama bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Griggs throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Nishiyama sees it coming and avoids it easily.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Griggs throws the left hand but Nishiyama avoids the punch easily.

Nishiyama scores with a jab and follows up with an uppercut that drops Griggs to his knees! He bounces straight back to his feet but is forced to take the mandatory standing 8 count before he's allowed to continue. We're back under way and the fighters meet in the middle of the canvas to re-engage.
Griggs throws a big shot that misses.
Nishiyama lands a jab.
Nishiyama moves out of range as Griggs strikes.
Griggs lands with a straight right. Nishiyama didn't see that one coming.
Nishiyama tries to clinch up but Griggs circles away and keeps his distance.

Nishiyama clips Griggs with a right and a left that makes him do the chicken dance for a couple of seconds. He touched his left hand down on the canvas so the referee steps between the fighters to give Griggs a standing 8 count before we can continue the bout.

Griggs is rocked!
Nishiyama moves out of range of the strikes.
Griggs avoids the head kick by Nishiyama.
A punch combination from Nishiyama misses.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
Griggs thuds his right hand into Nishiyama's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Griggs cracks Nishiyama with a perfect right hand that drops him to the mat! Nishiyama is sitting up but I can't see if he's OK from my position. The referee's count has reached 5,6,7 and Nishiyama is still not up. Can he make it? 8,9,10! He's out! Nishiyama could not beat the count!
