Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, James Frank!
The judges for this bout are John Kavanagh, John Roberts and Alyssa Summers.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Frank fails with a takedown attempt.
Frank goes for a double leg but Poloskov avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Poloskov continues to drive forward.
A counter left hand to the body from Poloskov misses its target.

Frank clinches with his opponent.
Poloskov lands a left hand that snaps the head of Frank backwards.

Poloskov lands a nice trip takedown into half guard.

Frank makes some distance and scrambles quickly back to his feet. Nice work!
Frank steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from Poloskov. That one must have hurt.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Poloskov scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.

Frank kicks off Poloskov and gets to his feet.
Poloskov changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
Frank looks winded!

Frank gets tackled into the cage by Poloskov. Poloskov maintains the clinch.

Poloskov has double underhooks and is working for a body lock takedown. He's got it. The fighters land in half guard but Frank regains guard immediately.

Frank uses the cage to get back to his feet.
James Frank seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

That's one minute gone in the round.

Poloskov closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Frank's guard.
Frank pulls Poloskov in close to prevent any damage.
Poloskov stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Frank swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Poloskov keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Frank's head.
Poloskov controls from within his opponent's guard.
Poloskov has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.

That's two minutes gone in the round.

Frank is working actively from the bottom, looking for submissions. He's escaped his hips to the side and he's going for an armbar! Poloskov has his hands clasped together but Frank extends and breaks Poloskov's desperate grasp, forcing a tap out due to armbar! Nice BJJ displayed there by Frank.
