PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Jay Simon (ranked 1189 p4p, 1985 weight class) and Razor Ramano (ranked 167 p4p, 264 weight class). Both fighters look pumped up here. Let's hope this is a good fight!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 34 - 16 - 2, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jay Simon!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 11 - 11 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Razor Ramano!
The judges for this bout are Ren Mimura, Taro Takaoka and Kenichi Hosakawa.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Simon takes a push kick to the midsection and stumbles backwards.
The fight stays on the outside here - Simon looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Simon tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Ramano manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Ramano scores with a hook to the body. Simon takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
Ramano throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Simon's head.

As Simon backs off Ramano throws a huge counter combo but Simon manages to avoid it all.

Ramano pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Simon back to the cage. Ramano follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.

Ramano has picked Simon up - he's going for a ride! Ramano dumps his opponent to the mat with a thud and settles into half guard.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare each other down, ready to get back to the action. And we move into the final round!
