Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Bryce Salt (ranked 6048 p4p, 5957 weight class) and Andronicus Unimanus (ranked 527 p4p, 521 weight class). Unimanus has chosen BoogeyMan as his entrance music. Andronicus Unimanus has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Andronicus Unimanus!
The judges for this bout are Alec Ball, Steve Smith and Elvis Blanc.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Salt closes the distance and clinches up with Unimanus, looking for a takedown. Salt pushes Unimanus against the cage but Unimanus circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Salt closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Unimanus's guard.
Salt stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Unimanus swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Salt engaging in some classic timewasting tactics.
Unimanus thows some rabbit punches from the bottom but they don't do any damage.
Salt advances to half guard.
Salt is pressing down on Unimanus's thigh, looking to free his foot. Unimanus is holding on for now.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Salt is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Unimanus won't allow Salt to pass to mount.

Salt has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.
Salt's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.

Unimanus is flailing around like a fish out of water, trying to land strikes.
Unimanus is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Unimanus is being controlled on the ground here - he must escape this position otherwise surely the end is near.

Salt seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Unimanus for as long as he can get away with.
If it seems like I'm not saying a lot, it's just because Salt is stinking the place up with his stalling.
Unimanus is in a world of trouble here. He's outmatched on the ground here and he'd better get Salt off his back sharpish unless he wants to be submitted.

Unimanus trying to control the action but Salt just sinks the hooks in.
Salt controlling the position well here. Unimanus rolled but Salt kept the hooks locked in and stayed in the dominant position.

Salt controlling his opponent.
Unimanus wants to control but Salt is having none of it.
Salt works his way to his opponent's back.
A bit of a pause in the action here. Salt controlling the positon.
Salt continues to stall.

Salt will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Unimanus tries to lock up and control but Salt gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
Salt forces the positional change into back control.
Unimanus is very frustrated here, being controlled quite effectively by Salt.

Salt is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Unimanus can do to turn this around?
Unimanus tries to escape but Salt has the hooks in and won't let him break free.
So, who will make the next big move? In this position it could be crucial.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Unimanus wants to control his opponent's hands but Salt gets his hands free.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Salt, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
