Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Scotty T Bone (ranked 2498 p4p, 4214 weight class) and Moe Lester (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lester misses with an uppercut
and T Bone connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.

It looks like Moe Lester has been cut.
Lester just misses with a punch to the body.

Lester moves into range and clinches up with T Bone.

T Bone's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
T Bone tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Lester was well out of range. Poor timing from T Bone.
Lester looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it.
T Bone throws a shot to the body.
T Bone uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Lester.
T Bone slips under a jab.
It looked like T Bone was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit.
T Bone takes a swing at Lester's ribcage but misses.
T Bone's jab looks to have found its range, popping Lester under the eye.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Lester has managed to clinch.
T Bone is trying to force a seperation but Lester has the dominant position.
Lester lands a left hand that snaps the head of T Bone backwards.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Lester keeps control of T Bone as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.

T Bone blocks a couple of punches on the inside.
Lester has T Bone pressed against the cage, preventing T Bone from circling away and getting back to striking at range.
Lester tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked.

Lester tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.

I was talking to T Bone's coach per-fight and he was telling me that they'd been working on the clinch in the runup to this fight.

Lester drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.
Lester has done a lot of speed work in the buildup to this fight.

T Bone slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.
Moe Lester seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
T Bone misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Lester.
T Bone jabs Lester to the body, keeping him at a distance.

T Bone swats away the attempt to clinch by Lester.

T Bone fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Lester on the side of the head.
Lester is still on wobbly legs! Can T Bone finish him?

The cut above Moe Lester's eye is starting to cause him problems now.
T Bone fires a straight punch through the middle that cracks Lester square on the jaw! Damn, Lester is out cold on his feet and topples face first to the canvas! Wow, I haven't seen a knockout that brutal in a long time!
