Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Karate King!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Ijin Yu!
The judges for this bout are Matti Vanhoillinen, Marco Blurström and Ben Zyskovitsi.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
King blocks a jab.
Yu throws a hook but King avoids it easily.
King throws an overhand right that lands on Yu's shoulder, as Yu tries to avoid the shot.
Yu misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from King.
Yu stuns King with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
King takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Yu scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!
Yu jabs at King's body.
Yu has done a lot of speed work in the buildup to this fight.
King takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.
Yu cracks King with a good jab.

King bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.

Yu connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.

Yu throws a lazy right hand but King sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
King was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.

Yu moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
Yu takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.

Ijin Yu seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Yu misses with the combination.
Yu is on the wrong end of a nice combination from King.
King scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.
King scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.

Nice uppercut lands for King. That snapped Yu's head back.

Yu lands a glancing blow to the side of King's head.
King is rocked!
King leaves his chin hanging out and Yu seizes the opportunity with an uppercut! King crumbles to the floor in a heap! The referee steps in and tends to the downed fighter! What a knockout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:59 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Ijin Yu!
After the fight, Ijin Yu was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
