The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Radics scores with a nice right hand.
Radics lands an overhand right.
Newton takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Radics keeps the fight on the outside.

Newton shoots in looking for a takedown but Radics manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Newton's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Radics bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.

Radics lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Newton circles away quickly and effectively.

Newton tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Radics defends well and Newton ends up having to push Radics into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.

Newton drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Radics gets the underhooks and prevents it.

Newton has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Radics is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.

Radics has scooted to the edge of the canvas and used the cage to get back to his feet. Newton has stuck on his opponent and is forcing him back against the cage.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Radics prevents the takedown attempt.
Radics is pressed up against the cage. Newton has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Radics down to the mat. Radics avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
Newton walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
Radics scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!
Radics has used his reach advantage pretty well so far tonight.

Radics connects with a body shot that sends Newton's belly button to the back.

Radics lands a big right hand and follows it up with an uppercut. Oh and another big punch and a knee - Newton can't take much more of this! Another big shot to the jaw from Radics and Newton drops to the floor. Beaten and bloodied - he had enough there. A vicious beatdown by Radics.
