Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Tapad Amiga (ranked 24412 p4p, 24228 weight class) and Rico Salvacion (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The fight MMA fans around the world have waited their entire lives for!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 15 - 36 - 3, fighting out of Las Vegas, Tapad Amiga!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 21 - 31 - 5, fighting out of Las Vegas, Rico Salvacion!
The judges for this bout are Cecil Peabody, Robert Twigg and George Francis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight.
Amiga looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Amiga backing away here, and Salvacion unleashes a leg kick that just misses.
Amiga keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Amiga swung with a counter punch to the body but it didn't connect.

Salvacion shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Amiga pinned against the cage. Amiga gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

Amiga has double underhooks and is working for a body lock takedown. He's got it. The fighters land in half guard but Salvacion regains guard immediately.

Amiga feints and as Salvacion raises his hands in defense, Amiga changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Salvacion is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.

The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! This is the final round!

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

and Amiga finishes the little exchange by landing a big kick to the body.

Salvacion is pressed up against the cage. Amiga has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Salvacion down to the mat. Salvacion avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
