Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Lewis Clarke (ranked 3371 p4p, 2293 weight class) and Black Caesar (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Lewis Clarke has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 10 - 8 - 0, fighting out of London, Lewis Clarke!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 22 - 16 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Black Caesar!
The judges for this bout are Sam Margolis, Colin Fotheringham and Chris Edwards.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Caesar looking for a takedown here - he's got it.
Caesar sitting in guard here, content to control.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Caesar trying to control the position from guard on top but Clarke is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Caesar stays in close to Clarke's body and controls the position.
Clarke pulls Caesar in to control the position.
Caesar content to stall in guard here.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Caesar stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Clarke swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Caesar controls from within his opponent's guard.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up.
Clarke lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.

Clarke fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Caesar wants to counter the offense by Clarke and move into the clinch position.

Caesar just manages to avoid a counter high kick fromClarke.
Caesar has a takedown stuffed.
Clarke misses with a double jab.

Clarke has Caesar up against the cage in a clinch.
Clarke misses with the head strike.

Caesar ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Caesar no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.
Caesar is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control.

Clarke wants to control from the top but Caesar keeps moving.
Caesar is trying to keep Clarke in close.
Caesar lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Caesar has gone for a leg lock! Clarke slips out almost immediately though and dives into Caesar's guard.

Caesar is trying to hold Clarke in close to prevent damage but Clarke has managed to pass into half guard.
Caesar felt the need to train up his defensive grappling in the buildup to the fight. Presumably he was expecting to be in a difficult position like this, so let's see if he can get out of it.
Clarke perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there.
Caesar is looking to control Clarke's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Caesar avoid being mounted?
Caesar tries to roll over but Clarke keeps him under control.

Caesar is looking to get full guard. It looks like he might be successful but at the last minute Clarke jumps into side control!

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Caesar regains half guard.
Clarke content to control rather than advance.
Caesar is staying active underneath Clarke, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
Still in half guard, Clarke seems content to control.
Clarke wants to get back to his feet.
Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Clarke in particular looking to stall.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Caesar wants to control but Clarke is keeping busy.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Lewis Clarke will probably get the nod.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

Black Caesar has got the better of the ground game so far.
Caesar wants to improve his position but instead Clarke has moved into half guard.

Caesar wants to sweep here but Clarke controlling him for the moment.

Caesar escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Clarke gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Caesar looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Caesar has a butterfly guard looking to sweep but Clarke has passed into side control.
Caesar tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Clarke wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
Caesar is not content to let Clarke control the position.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Clarke wants to stand but Caesar is controlling his arm.
Caesar tries to improve position but can't.
Caesar manages to work his way to half guard, despite Clarke's best efforts.
Caesar gets back to full guard.

Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!

That was a close second round but I would say that Lewis Clarke will probably get the nod.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. This is the final round!

Clarke slips a jab from Caesar.
Lewis Clarke is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Caesar changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Clarke tries to avoid it but Caesar manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Clarke to the ground. Clarke escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
Clarke looks to score with a jab to the body but Caesar is just out of range.
Lewis Clarke seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Caesar avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Caesar tries to close the distance and clinch but Clarke swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Caesar tests Clarke's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Clarke ducks right into an uppercut from Caesar.
Caesar moves out of range as Clarke throws a body kick.
Caesar throws a big shot that misses.
Caesar moves out of range as Clarke strikes.
Clarke throws a mid kick that lands with a slap.
Caesar goes for a double leg but Clarke avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Clarke continues to drive forward.

and Caesar counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Caesar moves out of range as Clarke throws a body kick.
Caesar ducks under a wild hook from Clarke.
Clarke misses with a body shot.
Clarke throws a shot from downtown. Caesar moves away and avoids it.
Caesar lands a glancing blow to the side of Clarke's head.

Caesar fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Clarke seem to be loading up, looking for a big counter.
Lewis Clarke has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Black Caesar.

Clarke tries to bum rush Caesar with a series of wild strikes but Caesar uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

Clarke throws a head kick but Caesar moves out of range.

Clarke moves into the clinch successfully.
Caesar jumps guard but Clarke stands there with Caesar around his waist. Caesar gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Clarke is clearly stalling here... Pick up the pace son.
A battle for position here, against the cage.
Clarke's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not.
Caesar jumps guard but Clarke turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing.

Caesar's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button!
Caesar is working for takedown but Clarke is calmly controlling the position for now.
Caesar blocks a punch to the side of the head.
Clarke trying to stall but Caesar improves his position.

Caesar pulls Clarke into guard.
Clarke showing good wrestling skills to control the position.
Caesar bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Clarke's guard.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Caesar sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Clarke's guard.

Caesar is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Clarke defends it well.
Clarke is looking to improve his position.
Lewis Clarke is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.

Caesar trying to pass the guard but Clarke defending well.

Caesar is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Clarke has managed to free his arm - good work.

Caesar is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Caesar wants to lay and pray for a moment but Clarke keeps working.
Caesar is looking for the mount but instead finds himself back in full guard.
Caesar trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
Black Caesar has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
Caesar is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
Caesar makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

And that's the end of the fight!
That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Lewis Clarke.
Well I reckon that's a shut out for Clarke, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
