Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Uchima Gonshiro (ranked 24123 p4p, 25155 weight class) and Kelsey Wright (ranked 0 p4p, 285 weight class). The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 9 - 12 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Uchima Gonshiro!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 6 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Kelsey Wright!
The judges for this bout are Yasuomi Hirokawa, Yukihiro Yamamoto and Yukihiro Shimada.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Wright closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Gonshiro did well to prevent Wright getting side control.
Gonshiro manages to create a bit of space in order to work his way back to his feet. Wright keeps hold of his opponent and drives him back against the cage.

Kelsey Wright seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Wright keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Let's hope that Wright has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.
