The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Davis doesn't manage to clinch there - Chibaclov circles away.

We've been hearing reports that Chibaclov has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Chibaclov is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Davis to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Davis shrugs it off.
Chibaclov can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Davis is looking to escape.

Davis escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Chibaclov gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Chibaclov content to sit in guard, stalling... Great. Oh but he could get punished here because Davis has locked up a guillotine! Davis's face is contorted as he sqeezes tight on the submission attempt - will he finish? Chibaclov is holding on here and Davis must be using up a lot of energy. Chibaclov has gone limp! He's out! He's out cold! Davis gets to his feet, tossing aside his stricken foe. Arms raised, he milks the applause from the crowd. Great submission!
