PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Radu Dracul (ranked 58 p4p, 37 weight class) and Stoner Steve (ranked 12 p4p, 7 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Dracul has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Dracul throws a strike but Steve rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.

Steve stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Dracul swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Steve tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Dracul's elbow.

Steve feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Dracul sprawling to the canvas! Dracul rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Steve finish him?!
This has been an exciting period of action!
I'm just looking down at my notes here and I see that.... oh! Steve has cracked Dracul with a big right, followed by a left! He's out on his feet! Steve lands another huge swinging hook and Dracul tumbles to the canvas! The ref dives in to save Dracul, before Steve can land any more shots!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:56 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Stoner Steve!
A relieved looking Stoner Steve thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
