Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jarkko Ahola (ranked 1732 p4p, 17665 weight class) and Bill Goldberg (ranked 65 p4p, 352 weight class). Jarkko Ahola is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples... Tweaking his own nipples that is.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Taro Takaoka, Yukihiro Yamamoto and Shigeki Fujiwara.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ahola blocks a jab.
Goldberg misses with a straight left.
Goldberg looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Goldberg on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
Goldberg throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Ahola has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.
Ahola lunges at Goldberg with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Goldberg's hand.

Ahola tries to counter by moving into the clinch but Goldberg manages to circle out of the way.
Goldberg tries for a takedown but Ahola sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.

The fighters circle momentarily. Ahola darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.

Goldberg shoots in but Ahola avoids the takedown attempt easily.

Goldberg throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Ahola sees it coming and avoids it easily.

Goldberg tries to work over Ahola's front leg with a kick but Ahola checks it.
Ahola connects with a good right hand that stumbles Goldberg. Goldberg circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
Ahola lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Ahola lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Goldberg at a distance.

Ahola scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.

Goldberg's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Ahola connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Goldberg scrambles back to his feet.

Goldberg shoots in looking for a takedown but Ahola manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Goldberg's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Ahola tries to counter by clinching up but Goldberg breaks away and moves out of range.

Ahola lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage.

Goldberg lands a nice trip takedown into half guard.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Goldberg misses with a head shot. Ahola uses the momentum to regain guard.
Ahola seems keen to control Goldberg's posture.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Ahola won't allow Goldberg to get back to his feet.

Ahola sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Goldberg's guard.

Ahola is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Ahola's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.
Ahola has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

Ahola lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.

Goldberg is rocked!
Ahola cracks Goldberg with a big right hand that sees him stumbling back against the cage! Goldberg falls to his knees and Ahola doesn't need a second invitatation - he rushes in and fires off several unanswered shots that force the referee to stop the fight! This one is all over!
