Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mitsugu Takeishi (ranked 2092 p4p, 2394 weight class) and Tau Masunwendinghamar (ranked 111 p4p, 124 weight class). Takeishi comes to the cage accompanied by Kabuki Gomen-Jyo. Masunwendinghamar has chosen What You Gonna Do as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Masunwendinghamar lands a big uppercut and Takeishi crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Takeishi looks OK. Masunwendinghamar waves Takeishi back to his feet!

Takeishi thows a left - swing and a miss!
Takeishi walks straight into a right hand from Masunwendinghamar - that's dropped him! Masunwendinghamar jumps into mount and starts pounding away - can he finish?! More strikes go undefended and the referee has to dive in to save Takeishi from any more punishment! Takeishi complains about the stoppage but falls over as he tries to stand back up, so it was clearly a good stoppage.
