Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ledley King (ranked 2012 p4p, 1249 weight class) and Svend Thorsby (ranked 92 p4p, 44 weight class). Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 12 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Ledley King!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 19 - 14 - 1, fighting out of Helsinki, Svend Thorsby!
The judges for this bout are James Atkins, James Glass and Donald Grub.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
King looks to score with a jab to the body but Thorsby is just out of range.
King on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
King throws a big shot that misses.
Thorsby buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
King fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Thorsby lands a leg kick that knocks King off balance momentarily.
A nice leg kick from Thorsby, right into the meat of the thigh.
Thorsby slips a straight right by King.
King throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Thorsby cracks a nice hook into King's ribs.
King throws a head kick that misses
and Thorsby counters with a low kick, right behind King 's knee.
Thorsby steps to the side to avoid the strikes from King.
Thorsby throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Thorsby has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as King is landing a low percentage of strikes.
King shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Thorsby as he avoids it easily.
King misses with a looping left.
Thorsby lands with a good body shot.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
A low kick lands for Thorsby.
Thorsby lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.
King takes one to the side of the head.
Thorsby looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.
King misses with a telegraphed body shot
and Thorsby counters with a lovely straight right hand!

That's one minute gone in the round.
King takes a body punch but keeps moving.
King is breathing heavily.
Thorsby lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
King misses with a hook

and Thorsby counters with a crisp one two that drops King! Thorsby thinks about following him to the mat for a moment but instead steps back and waves King to his feet! King is in big trouble!

King is rocked!
Thorsby cracks King's jaw with two stiff jabs then ducks low and throws a soul-severing right uppercut to the mouth!! King slumps to the ground with blood on his lips. The referee steps in before Thorsby can do further damage! This one is done, son!

During a confident post fight interview, Svend Thorsby thanked all his fans. He seemed very genuine when describing how motivated his fans keep him.
