Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Amadeusz Roslik (ranked 3011 p4p, 4054 weight class) and Shang Chi (ranked 378 p4p, 0 weight class). Shang Chi has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Amadeusz Roslik!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Shang Chi!
The judges for this bout are Don Winkell, Frank Antenori and Jack Bonds.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Roslik shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Roslik was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!

Roslik slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Roslik is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact.
Chi wants to improve his position but instead Roslik has moved into half guard.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Chi can do anything to dispel that myth.

Roslik has hold of Chi's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Chi manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.

Shang Chi seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Chi lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Roslik at a distance.

Roslik shoots in and bounces Chi off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
