Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Bob Bronte (ranked 876 p4p, 847 weight class) and Abelardo De Leon (ranked 49 p4p, 42 weight class). Bronte comes to the cage accompanied by Buffalo Charge by Dub Phizix and Strategy. De Leon has chosen Mercenary - F.O.O.L. & Power Glove as his entrance music. Buckle up people - heeeeeeeeeere we go!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 8 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Bob Bronte!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Abelardo De Leon!
The judges for this bout are Steve Smith, Trevor Gratis and Dillan Fox.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bronte bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Both fighters take a look at the clock.
Bronte is looking to take a break and control but De Leon is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if De Leon can do anything to dispel that myth.
Bronte wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by De Leon, who protects the arm well.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Bronte is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. De Leon knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.
De Leon tries to bench press Bronte off him but Bronte keeps the position.

It looks like Bob Bronte has been cut.

Bronte tries to clinch up but De Leon circles away and keeps his distance.
De Leon throws a fast counter high kick but Bronte manages to duck under it in time.
Bronte staying out of range there.
Bronte cracks a nice hook into De Leon's ribs.
De Leon slips under a jab from Bronte.
De Leon jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Bronte half commits to a counter takedown before pushing away, out of range.
Bronte drives through with a takedown into De Leon's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position.

Bronte is pushing down on De Leon's leg trying to pass to half guard. De Leon is fighting to maintain full guard but Bronte has managed to sneak the leg through.

De Leon wants to improve his position but Bronte is controlling well.

Bronte frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
De Leon can't escape the position.

Bronte can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as De Leon is looking to escape.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Bronte works his way to his opponent's back.
Bronte gets his hands free as De Leon looks to control.
De Leon can't escape the position.

Bronte is staying calm and holding on to the back position, whilst working on a rear naked choke. De Leon is defending well though. Bronte let's go of the attempt for now.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Bronte is cranking De Leon's head sideways - that looks painful. He's managed to get his other arm under the chin and this looks bad for De Leon! He's tightened the choke and De Leon is tapping out!
