Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Daniel Marshall!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 10 - 1, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, David Brenda!
The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, Stewart Dunkirk and Frank Dennis.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Marshall dips down and scores with a jab to the body.

Marshall fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Brenda on the side of the head.

Marshall throws a body punch but Brenda moves out of range.
Brenda is loading up here, looking for a big counter of his own.
Marshall swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Marshall cracks Brenda with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.

Marshall is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Brenda can do to turn this around?
Brenda throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Marshall's waist but Marshall gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Brenda off to one side.
It looked like Marshall was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit.
Brenda doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.

Despite the aggression on Brenda's face he doesn't fully commit to the counter.

Marshall seems a little flustered. He's come in with the intention of controlling the clinch but Brenda is preventing him from doing so, at least for the moment.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Marshall, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
