Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Caleb DeCoteau (ranked 2782 p4p, 3332 weight class) and Salvatore Coppola (ranked 417 p4p, 480 weight class). Coppola comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Duality kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 9 - 12 - 1, fighting out of Montreal, Caleb DeCoteau!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 11 - 23 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Salvatore Coppola!
The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, Gwen Towbar and Tiny Johnson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Donk. DeCoteau catches Coppola right on the button with a cross.
DeCoteau keeps Coppola at a distance using the push kick.
DeCoteau feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
DeCoteau wants to pass the guard but Coppola is keeping the position.
Coppola scores with a nice shot.
DeCoteau got a little sloppy there for a moment and Coppola has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, DeCoteau has managed to get both his arms back between Coppola's legs - danger averted.
DeCoteau sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Coppola's guard.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Coppola makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Coppola.
Coppola can't keep his opponent in guard - DeCoteau advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Coppola is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but DeCoteau pulls his head out easily.
DeCoteau moves into side control, avoiding a weak kimura attempt from Coppola.
DeCoteau controls the position.
DeCoteau is working for what looks like an arm triangle here. Coppola is trying to escape and DeCoteau transitions quickly into an armbar! He's slapped it on tight and Coppola is forced to tap! Nice work there by DeCoteau! Very nice indeed!
