Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Tom Gabel (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Maluco Doideira (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Thiago Cunha, Felipe Paraventi and Matheus Silva.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Doideira lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.
A nice inside leg kick there by Gabel. That's going to slow Doideira down.
Gabel avoids a punch combination nicely.
Some wild striking there from Doideira.
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Gabel, right into the meat.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Gabel throws a sloppy head kick and Doideira moves out of range easily.
Gabel avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Gabel slips a jab and a cross from Doideira.
Doideira looks gassed!
Gabel slips a straight right by Doideira.
Doideira uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Gabel.
Doideira throws a series of punches but Gabel avoids them all with ease.
Doideira throws a right hand that Gabel ducks under and follows up with a left that Gabel also avoids with ease.
Gabel dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Doideira. That did some damage!
Gabel fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Doideira.
Gabel scores with a kick to the midsection.

Doideira takes a head kick and shrugs it off.
Gabel turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
Doideira's leg has a nasty welt from taking a succession of leg kicks. That must be slowing him down.
Gabel lands a nice leg kick that just misses Doideira's sensitive parts.

Doideira is rocked!
Doideira throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Gabel stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Gabel turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
A big head kick from Gabel and Doideira is sent sprawling to the canvas!
Doideira is still in real trouble! Can Gabel finish him?
Doideira wants to get back to his feet but he's too absorbed in his own little project and Gabel manages to pass to side control.
Doideira wants to improve his position but Gabel is controlling well.
Doideira seems to have recovered his senses.

Gabel is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Gabel has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's time! Gabel's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.

A combination from Doideira does no damage.
A decent looking body kick lands there for Gabel.
The fighters circle, before Gabel throws a beautiful high kick that crashes into Doideira's neck, sending him stumbling to the floor! Gabel lands more strikes and forces a referee stoppage! That one ended in an instant!
