Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Ian Loll, Robert Douchet and Trevor Gratis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Piji misses with a low kick.
Piji keeps the fight on the outside.
Piji throws a head kick but Tweedy moves out of range.
Piji looks to land a left hand but Tweedy moved out of range nicely.
Piji shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Tweedy as he jumps to the side.
Piji circles away from the clinch attempt.
Piji shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.
Piji trying to control but he's not successful this time.
Piji thuds his fist into the canvas! Oooouch!
Tweedy working to try and regain half guard.

Piji stands up from the dominant position, so we're back on the feet.
Xion Piji seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Tweedy stuffs the takedown.
Tweedy keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Jeff Tweedy has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Xion Piji.
Piji looks gassed!

Tweedy is looking to clinch.
Piji misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Piji blocks a head kick by Tweedy.
Tweedy fails with an attempt to clinch.
Tweedy throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Tweedy keeping moving, preventing Piji from controlling successfully.
Tweedy is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
Piji has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Piji won't allow Tweedy to sweep him here.
Tweedy knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Piji on the ground.

Piji trying to control the position from guard on top but Tweedy is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Piji prevents Tweedy from getting back to his feet.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
The fight stays on the outside here - Tweedy looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Tweedy has taken the fight to the clinch.
Piji fails to pull the fight into his guard.
Tweedy pulls guard.
Tweedy wants to stand but Piji is controlling the position.

Piji is in a good position here but he's just trying to control... And he's not even managing to do that successfully.

Piji pushes down on Tweedy's leg and manages to get into half guard.
Piji uses his free foot to push down on Tweedy's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Tweedy.

Tweedy is flailing around, obviously not happy about being mounted. Piji locks hold of one of his arms and spins for an armbar. He's got it! Tweedy is forced to tap!
